Give Kevin Sinfield a knighthood for £2m marathon effort for Rob Burrow and MND – Yorkshire Post Letters
IF anyone requires a role model, then look no further than the once brilliant rugby league player Kevin Sinfield who has just completed seven marathons in as many days in support of his fellow team-mate Rob Burrow.
This man needs some recognition, why not a knighthood? Not just because he has raised at least £2m for Rob Burrow and the Motor Neurome Disease charity but simply because he did it for his mate.
Very well done Kevin and all the very best Rob.
From: Andrew Mercer, Guiseley.

Hide AdTRULY humbled by Kevin Sinfield – and how he ran seven marathons in as many days to raise funds for his best mate Rob Burrow and MND victims.
Very different to footballer Marcus Rashford’s work on child food poverty, but another example of the power of sport – and role models – to make a lasting difference.
From: Henry Cobden, Ilkley.
WE should all salute Kevin Sinfield for what he’s done to raise the profile of Motor Neurone Disease – and why the next mission for our world-beating scientists, after overcoming Covid, is to find a cure for this dreadful and debilitating disease.
