Police seek help in hunt for woman
Marlene Wagstaff, 77, has not been seen since leaving home in Withernsea Road, Withernsea, to go for a walk last Friday.
Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for Mrs Wagstaff’s welfare because of her age and condition and have not managed to locate her despite large-scale searches.

A search team has been put together which includes the police helicopter, mounted section, underwater search team and officers on foot searching through Withernsea and the surrounding areas.
“We know that Mrs Wagstaff is a keen walker and therefore we are appealing for dog walkers, horse riders and residents in the area to be vigilant and report any possible sightings of Marlene to the police.
“The area around Withernsea is very rural and we are inviting anyone that has some time to spare to come and assist us in this search.”
