Strike day at computer company
Members of Unite are involved in a long-running dispute with the firm over job cuts, a pay freeze and pension changes, launching the latest wave of industrial action last week.

Hide AdUnion national officer Peter Skyte said: “We are disturbed to find that a disproportionate number of women, part-time and ethnic minority workers appear to have been selected for redundancy at Fujitsu, but have had no meaningful response from the company to our queries on this.
“This strengthens our case for a fairer, open and more transparent pay system which we also suspect may be masking potential discrimination.”
Unite claimed that twice as many women had been selected for compulsory redundancy, while almost one-in-10 part-timers had been told they were losing their job, compared with 3.9 per cent for full-timers.
