Volunteering celebrated across city
Now in its 27th year, Volunteers’ Week celebrates the contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK.
In Hull, the week will be marked by the Hull Volunteering Fair, which takes place at City Hall on Monday June 6.

Hide AdThe event will be open to the public between 11am and 3pm, the event will feature 50 organisations from across the city who use volunteers, with the aim of inspiring others to take on the volunteering challenge.
The event will also feature a selection of bands, face painters and street entertainers.
The manager at Volunteer Centre Hull, Tom Grealy, said: “Volunteers’ Week is a national celebration of volunteers and volunteering.
“It plays a huge part in raising the profile of England’s 22m volunteers while encouraging others to get involved.”
