Archway is a part of regeneration charity re'new, which works with disadvantaged neighbourhoods. It runs confidence building sessions, educational trips and provides showering, laundry, IT, music studio, recreational, sporting and crche facilities.
Science, 27, who lives close by, was the driving force behind the development of a recording studio within the building, which helped launch the career of Leeds record producer T2.
Science said: "Archway has helped me in so many different ways; it kept me off the streets and out of trouble. You get to meet people from all different walks of life, so you could say it helps us all socially as well."
