FT Southampton 2 Barnsley 0: Lallana nets double against Tykes

Keith Hill’s Barnsley lost in the Championship to leaders Southampton today.

Striker Frank Nouble started after returning to Barnsley for a second spell on loan from West Ham United. The Tykes are still without Jim O’Brien, David Perkins, Bobby Hassell, Rob Edwards, and Jacob Butterfield.

The Reds were behind on 36 minutes when Adam Lallana netted, and it was the same Saints player who made it 2-0 on 54 minutes.
