Nottingham Forest 1-2 Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster held on for a priceless and rare away win at their relegation rivals Forest.
Frederic Piquionne gave Rovers the lead on the stroke of half-time with a stunning long-range strike.

Forest made a game of it when Dexter Blackstock pulled a goal back shortly after the hour mark.

Huddersfield Town 1-0 Hartlepool United
Simon Grayson celebrated his second home win as Town boss as the Terries maintained their quest for automatic promotion.
Alan Lee broke the deadlock for Simon Grayson’s side with just 15 minutes remaining.
Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 Bury

Hide AdDave Jones’s reign got off to a winning start as the Owls crushed Bury to keep the heat on city rivals United in the second automatic promotion place.
Loan star Michail Antonio gave Sheffield Wednesday the lead in the 11th minute in Jones’s first home game in charge.
The Owls doubled their lead shortly after the break when Gary Madine ended his goal drought.
And Antonio grabbed his second on 58 minutes to settle the tie.

Hide AdRyan Lowe, who ex-manager Gary Megson signed from Bury, then made it even worse for his old club with the Owls’ fourth on 64 minutes.
Former Bradford City midfielder Stephen Schumacher pulled a goal back for the Shakers.
Walsall 3-2 Sheffield United
Sheffield United lost for the third time in four games as Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday ate into their advantage in the second automatic promotion spot.
Sam Mantom gave Walsall the lead on 53 minutes when he beat Steve Simonsen in the United goal.

Hide AdBut Danny Wilson’s side were level within 10 minutes when midfielder Lee Williamson found the net.
Jon Macken restored Walsall’s advantage on 73 minutes but once again United’s riposte was quick, Ched Evans levelling three minutes later.
But once again the Sadlers retook the lead, this time Alex Nicholls heading home to make it 3-2 with nine minutes left.

Bradford City 1-1 Accrington Stanley
Bradford threw away three points when they were pegged back in the last minute.

But they were denied the win in the last minute when Will Hatfield levelled.
Rotherham United 1-1 Crewe Alexandra
Lewis Grabban earned Rotherham a point but it was more like two points dropped in the race for the play-offs.
The Millers fell behind to their fellow play-off chasers in the 16th minute when Harry davis scored from the penalty spot.

Having trailed for so long Rotherham levelled on 62 minutes through Grabban.

York City squandered the chance to keep the heat on top spot as they were held to a goalless draw at Bootham Crescent.
