Ratings: How Huddersfield Town players fared against Stoke
Schofield: Stayed alert to tip over a dangerous inswinging corner in the first half from Thompson which almost crept in. Little to do in second half. 6
Pipa: Needed no second invitation to get forward, with his confidence emboldened by his early deflected opener. A regular outlet for Town 7

Hide AdKeogh: Fraught first half in which he gifted possession needlessly several times, including in the build-up to Stoke’s leveller. A bit easier in the second half with Stoke a man light. 4
Sarr: Penalised for bringing down Clarke with a stretching leg and it looked the right call. 5
Toffolo: Surged forward when the chance arose and put in a few cracking crosses from the left. 7
Vallejo: Stroked the ball around with authority and composed and eye-catching at times. Off beam with a good second-half chance. 7

Hide AdO’Brien: Some trademark bursts as he seeks to get back to his top form. Oh so close with a second half drive which hit the woodwork. 6
Bacuna: On the receiving end of Norrington-Davies’s red card challenge before the break. Denied a second half goal by a great block close to the goalline from McClean. 6
Mbenza: Up against a decent marker in Norrington-Davies and had McClean for company in the second half. No doubting his effort, but not too much came off. 6
Campbell: Close with a downward header in the first half. Slugged it out with Stoke’s powerhouse centre-backs. 6
