Valley Parade reaction: Stuart McCall salutes solid Bradford City display, Warne upset by Millers marking
Romain Vincelot scored the only goal of the game to hand Bradford the derby honours and move the Bantams up to third place in League One.
McCall said: "I have lots of times, there are lots of ways to win football games. You can be lucky, brilliant or whatever.

Hide Ad"But today, we had to be resolute. Once the teamsheet came through and we knew that the big boy Keiffer Moore was playing, we knew we'd have to defend.
"To be honest, you look at their team, players and squad and they have a lot of players who have played at Championship level. Good players and they were on a good run of form and free-scoring and for us to get a clean sheet was terrific"

Warne, who revealed that David Ball missed the game due to tonsilitis, said: : 'I am disappointed not to take a point. Tayls' chance in first half was a bit of a defining moment.
'We just couldn't defend one cross and we suffered from it.

Hide Ad"I wasn't best pleased, as you can well imagine. There was confusion as to whose man it is, but I don't think there was any confusion. A header shouldn't happen against us in the centre of goal, so I am disappointed with that.
"Give kudos to Bradford, they defended really well. We had wave upon wave of balls into box."
