Ripon boosted their hopes of promotion with a 9-3 victory over leaders North Ribblesdale.

Hessle enjoyed a 24-7 home win over Barnsley.
Scrum-half Chris Watkins and centre Matt Donkin touched down in the first half as Hessle led 10-0 at the break.
After Barnsley had hit back with full-back Andrew Appleyard scoring a try which Patrick Jensen converted, Hessle full-back Chair Poucher converted his own try as well as a second from Chris Watkins.
