Marcelo Bielsa’s men were beaten 4-2 by Arsenal in their last Premier League outing, and the former Scotland striker expressed his concern that they are starting to tire after putting some much effort into the early stages of the campaign.

By contrast, Wolves beat Southampton in their last match, and have now lost just one of their past five top flight games.

A win for Nuno Espirito’s side would see them leapfrog the Whites in the table, and looking ahead to the clash on Friday morning, Brazil backed Wanderers to take all three points in a tight affair.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I was a little bit disappointed with Leeds last time out.

"They came back into the game, but I just wonder if that amount of effort – they press, they attack at every moment – if it’s catching up with them a wee bit.

"I think Wolves are beginning to find a wee bit of form.”It’s probably a draw, but I just think the home side might nick it”.

Leeds lost 1-0 when the two sides met at Elland Road back in October, with Raul Jimenez scoring the crucial goal.

The Whites have endured some tricky clashes with Wolves in recent seasons, and haven’t beaten the Midlands club since October 2016.

An own goal from Wanderers defender Silvio proved to be the deciding factor at Molineux that day.
