After the winter gloom comes a carnival of colour

If you want to be ahead of the game, those in the know style-wise are championing a look simply called "Celebration" for the upcoming spring/summer 2011 season. And as the name would suggest, it's a fun look. It's about creating a carnival of colour, using brilliant brights which will reawaken the senses after a long winter.

It's sassy and full of energy. Why wait for spring? Inspiration is taken from the full force of the floral colour explosion spring brings. Think Daffodil yellow, Geranium pink, Poppy red, Iris purple, Viola blue and bright spring green.

It should be a fancy fantasy of colours, used in glossy and silky finishes. It's elegant, but bold and brilliant too. A riot of sunshine – it feels new and exciting.
