Artist with big ideas for garden

CHATSWORTH may be steeped in history but the gardens of the famous stately home will provide a backdrop for a new exhibition of large-scale contemporary art.

Beyond Limits is open to the public from next Friday and features exhibits mostly more than 10ft tall, with the largest almost 50ft wide.

Big names among the exhibitors are Damien Hurst, showing his two works Myth and Legend. Yorkshire artist Richard Hudson’s work is also on show, alongside pieces from across the world

The exhibition will be open every day from 11am to 6pm and admission costs are covered by normal garden entrance fees.
