Since St Wilfrid’s Church on Duchy Road unveiled its £2m blueprint for the future less than a year ago Harrogate’s only Grade One listed building has begun the process of transforming itself into an event and performance space.
It’s latest venture is a collaboration with North Yorkshire Open Studios which is presenting a garden-inspired jewellery workshop in the hall of what is Harrogate’s only Grade One listed building on Saturday, June 4
Project manager for North Yorkshire Open Studios, France-Leigh, says, “This event will offer a great opportunity for people to learn new skills, meet an artist and get creative in a relaxed and inspiring environment.”
Originally designed by Edwardian architect Temple Lushington Moore, St Wilfrid’s Church is currently applying for a Heritage Lottery grant of £1.6million.
Places are still available to take part in the workshop led by Yorkshire-based jeweller, Jules Weiss.
