Deer Shed reveals further line-up details
American singer-songwriter Benjamin Booker will bring his “raw brand of blues/boogie/soul” to the North Yorkshire event, now in its sixth year.
His appearance follows on last year from the release of his self-titled debut album, which spawned the single “Violent Shiver” and led to the 25-year-old from Virginia being named an “artist you need to know” by the influential Rolling Stone magazine.

Hide AdHe has also appeared on Later with Jools Holland and has toured with Jack White and Courtney Barnett.

Earlier this month saw the event reveal its three headling acts with Billy Bragg, John Grant and The Unthanks taking it in turn to close the main stage.
Other names announced today include Hinds, Boxed In, Palace, Seafret, Robyn Sherwell, Shopping, Pixel Fix, Slug, Model Aeroplanes, The Hummingbirds, Sam Russo, Dan Donnelly, Buffalo Skinners and Earths.
