Fashion and art: October events at Lambert’s Yard Leeds

There’s a new season of fashion and art to be found at Lambert’s Yard in Leeds, kicking off this Friday October 9 with a Light Night Installation and Candlelit Courtyard with acoustic musicians. Sure to be very stylish and arty. And musical.

Then on Tuesday, October 13, check out The Powder Room - From 7pm-11pm, guests can enjoy Cocchi Vermouth Apiritivo tasting and cocktail lessons while perusing the new Autumn/Winter collections, including a sneak preview of the Issa resort collection, landing in November, and new pieces from Aquascutum. Lambert’s Yard was one of the first stores outside of London to stock Issa in the UK. The Duchess of Cambridge is a fan and wore an Issa dress for the announcement of her engagement to Prince William, don’t you know. Lambert’s will also be the only place in Leeds where you can buy heritage brand Aquascutum.

Westrow Hair will be on hand to offer the latest hair trend advice (they have their fabulous Academy right next dooron Lower Briggate) and show how to create quick updos ready for the party season, plus there will be make-up sessions from Illamasqua. DJ Stephanie Pullen will be offering mini DJ lessons (because you know you want to impress at the office party this year) and there will be a buffet, plus guests can buy tote bags customised with their own design by fashion illustrators Sophie Price and Laura Hewertson.
