Fashion to dine for - a dress made of chocolate

At last - it’s the party dress that’s good enough to eat.

These numbers were designed to celebrate the 25th birthday of Magnum ice cream – and one of them is made entirely out of chocolate.

Three chocolatiers spent more than 100 hours perfecting the creation, which is equal to the amount of chocolate found on 833 Magnum Classic ice creams.

Designer Henry Holland created the replica of the Magnum 25 dress, a 1960s-inspired shift with a structured, pointed collar and chocolate sequins.

Chief chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory said: “We loved the challenge of combining a girl’s biggest pleasures – chocolate and fashion – to create this piece.

“Henry’s dress is so intricately and beautifully designed we really wanted to do it justice.

“Each of the sequins you see were individually hand-crafted by us and attached to the fully wearable dress.”
