Cast of award-winning drama Gentleman Jack spotted filming in Fulneck

An array of scenes for the global TV hit have been filmed across Yorkshire.

Bruce Newton and Claire Newman captured these pictures of the cast on set outside Fulneck school.

Stars including Suranne Jones were spotted filming scenes for the popular BBC One show at Fulneck Moravian Chapel - a Grade I listed building, making it one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Leeds.

Fulneck has also been the scene for filming of Emmerdale and The Royal.

Gentleman Jack is a historical drama television series based in Yorkshire created by Sally Wainwright.

The series is based on the collected diaries of Anne Lister, which contain over four million words and are written largely in secret code, documenting a lifetime of lesbian relationships.

Stars of the series include Sophie Rundle as Ann Walker, Joe Armstrong as Samuel Washington and Amelia Bullmore as Eliza Priestley.

The production team appeared to be adhering to Government guidelines for safety during filming.

Social media users praised the location of filming as a perfect choice.
