Food Matters: Invitation to Amish food event

Farmer Copleys, the Pontefract based award-winning farm shop, is to host a special Amish Gourmet evening tomorrow from 7pm until late.

Following a summer visit to an Amish community in Philadelphia, the team from Copleys have taken real-life influences from the Amish culture to create the themed evening, which will include a five-course meal with drinks using authentic ingredients straight from the field to the plate.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the Amish people who are known for their simple living, while enjoying food and drink that they are involved in preparing.
