Food Matters: Welly wanging fun at festival

The festival is on Sunday, July 4 at Farmer Copleys. The event, which attracted more than 4,500 people last year, is set to be bigger and better than ever with an expected turn out of more than 8,000 visitors.

With games and activities including Dancing Diggers, welly wanging, tug-of-war, pie eating competitions and vegetable archery, there is an activity for everyone to get involved with.

The event is from 11am to 4pm with free admission and parking. Visitors can expect to see street dancing performances, vintage tractors and food tasting with refreshments and a hog roast all on offer. Local crafts and produce stalls will also be present.
