The Haven has secured its position at the heart of the community.

Offering a free in-depth programme of care, visitors come along to overcome the emotional and physical stresses associated with

breast cancer.

Since opening, The Haven has helped nearly 800 women (and one man) to cope

with the diagnosis of

breast cancer.

Tomorrow, Mike Tomlinson, husband of the late Jane Tomlinson who died of breast cancer, who has followed his wife's lead by raising thousands for cancer charities, will attend the celebration at The Haven, showing his support for the work the charity does.

The CEO of The Haven, Pamela Healy OBE, said: "It is great to be able to celebrate two years in Yorkshire. The team here have helped nearly 800 people deal with the emotional and physical challenges that breast cancer brings."
