Health Matters: Return of The Clangers

Yorkshire Cancer Research, the UK's largest regional medical research charity, is seeking retail partners to stock its exclusive new range of merchandise based on the iconic 1970s' children's television characters The Clangers.

The charity has entered into a fundraising partnership with Coolabi Licensing, which represents the licensing and merchandising rights forClangers, and The Big Badge Company who have created a range of key rings and pin badges using the characters – a family of mouse-like creatures who speak in whistles and live on another planet, together with the Soup Dragon.

The Clangers series was originally broadcast by the BBC from 1969-1972 and produced by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, who were also responsible for some of the most charming children's animation ever made; Bagpuss and Ivor the Engine.
