Here comes the sun – at long last

This spring, make-up mixes vibrancy with prettiness for a zesty look. Stephanie Smith finds out what's new this season.

Soft pink coral lips and cheeks are an easy way to add a pop of colour and sunshine to your make-up for spring, bringing a pretty sheen that really can add the lustre and lusciousness of youth.

For a modern coral look, though, keep the eyes nude with a natural cream shadow, fine liner and a lash-lengthening mascara.

Clear, pure-looking skin is another must for spring. Witch Blemish Stick is ideal if you're suffering from the odd blemish or two. It's best to dot it on over foundation and before powder (if you use powder) with a fine pointy brush. It's a bargain 3.09, from Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets.
