Plant of the Week: Rudbeckias
Both perennial and annual rudbeckias provide vivid colour to beds and borders, particularly as the season progresses towards late summer.
You can get varieties that will top 6ft or you can choose a more sedate form just a fraction that size.
But whatever form you want, you can be sure that in a sunny, well-drained spot (or in pots) they will provide a burst of glorious colour.
