Plenty for fans of top playwright

A SEASON of works by English playwright Sir David Hare is now underway in Sheffield, beginning with a production of Plenty at the Crucible Theatre.

During the season, all three of Sheffield Theatres venues in the city will showcase plays by Sir David, who is married to the French fashion designer Nicole Farhi.

Plenty, which spans three decades, tells the story of life in post-war Britain and the cast includes Hattie Morahan (above as Susan Traherne with David Bark-Jones as Lazar), Edward Bennett, Laura Carmichael and Jack Ryder.
