Review: OSS 117: Lost in Rio (15)***

With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Michel Hazanavicius's 2006 spy caper OSS 117: Cairo, Nest Of Spies was an entertaining tale of espionage and double-cross involving top French operative Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath aka Agent 117 (Jean Dujardin).

In the 2009 sequel, director and leading man reunite for a hare-brained, second mission involving a microfilm containing the names of all of the French Nazi sympathisers, who sided with Hitler's forces during the Second World War.

Agent 117 heads for Brazil in search of it and is soon joined by beautiful Mossad Colonel, Dolores Koulechov (Louise Monot), who also wants the microfilm so the guilty men can stand trial for their war crimes. The sexual tension invariably impedes their important assignment.
