Video: Joe Swash and Tracy Beaker preview York panto
Actor Joe Swash was in York yesterday to announce he will be appearing in pantomime in the city this year.
The King of the Jungle and former Eastender plays the Prince’s Valet Dandini in Cinderella at York Barbican. CBBC star Dani Harmer, known for her portrayal of Tracy Beaker will play the title role.
Blue Genie Entertainment in association with Ash Productions Live, is behind the production. Blue Genie’s managing director, Gary Telfer, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing the most popular pantomime, Cinderella to York this Christmas. It promises to be the biggest and most magical pantomime ever staged at the venue, with amazing special effects and real Shetland ponies.”
