Time to wave goodbye to winter

This summer is all about soft waves, on both long and short hair and the correct temperature is key. Unlike most hair irons, new Cloud Nines can be set to different temperatures to suit your hair type and style.

Here's how to get soft curls for medium/long hair: Fine hair, set to 125 degrees C, medium to thick hair, 175C. Section your hair. Starting at the nape of the neck, take a 3-4cm wide piece of hair. Place iron vertically at the root, give it a half turn, twisting it around your hair. Glide your hair through the iron. Remember to not hold iron too tightly. Continue this technique, moving up.

How to get soft curls for short hair: Fine hair set to 125 degrees C, medium/thick hair, 175C. Taking a horizontal section of hair at the nape of your neck, place your iron horizontally at the root. Lift hair with the iron so it is at a right angle. Twisting the iron, give it a half turn down, then gently pull it through your hair. This creates a large barrel curl.
