Heavy rain at the Bramham Park site last night meant some muddy areas underfoot but it did not deter festival-goers, many of whom were excited to see headliner Eminem on Sunday.

Eminem’s last performance at Leeds Festival was 12 years ago in 2001 when Leeds turned three years old - this year the festival turns 15.

The line-up this year features a variety of performers including Biffy Clyro, Green Day, and Eminem on the main stages, and Jake Bugg, Skrillex, Knife Party and Alt-J elsewhere.

The festival officially opened today with many revellers having braved overnight downpours to bag themselves a prime spot to watch their favourite bands.
