Video: Weightlifting women at Yorkshire Sculpture Park

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield is hosting a unique performance by women weightlifters in the shadow of the iconic Barbara Hepworth “ Family of Man” bronzes next month.

The project is the brainchild of London artist Helen Benigson and explores issues around women and their weight, set against the impressive statues.

The performance is on August 2nd at 2 pm with another rehearsal earlier in the day at 11am
