600 Group chief executive to hand over reins

DAVID Norman’s departure comes five months after The 600 Group’s finance director Martyn Wakeman announced his retirement for personal reasons.

Mr Wakeman was replaced by Neil Carrick, the former finance director at Cosalt.

Mr Carrick, 50, was at William Cook before he went to work for Grimsby-based marine and offshore company Cosalt.

Mr Wakeman has continued to work on acquisitions and disposals.

At the time Mr Norman said: “I would like to thank Martyn for his significant contribution and welcome the addition of Neil to the board.”
