888 confirms talks with Ladbrokes about offer
Online casino and poker group 888 said today it is in talks with bookmaker Ladbrokes in relation to a possible transaction.
On Sunday Ladbrokes had confirmed it was in early stage discussions over a possible offer for 888.
The Sunday Telegraph had reported that Ladbrokes was mulling an offer pitched at about 70 pence per share, valuing 888 at around 240m.
