Abbeycrest relocates head office
Jewellery company Abbeycrest has relocated its headquarters outside of Yorkshire as it continues to try to reduce its cost base.
In an interim management statement for the period September 1, 2011 to January 17 2012, Abbeycrest said it has relocated the head office from Leeds to one of the group’s subsidiaries, Brown & Newirth, in Hatfield.
The firm said it has continued to be adversely affected by competitive market conditions and other factors including high precious metal prices.

Hide AdIt added: “The group continues to closely manage its working capital requirement during January and the board continues to pursue all options available to address the ongoing constraints on working capital.
“Accordingly, the group is currently in advanced discussions regarding the proposed disposal of certain of the group’s assets within a short timeframe”
