‘Absolute honour’ as Kings’ directors get Freedom of the City of London

The historic award was presented at a recent ceremony held at the Guildhall in London in recognition of their positions as Freemen of the Worshipful Company of Security Profession- als.

Mr King and Mr Evans have become part of a group of people that are recognised as valued members of the City of London and its community, including representatives in business, dignitaries and celebrities.

They include actor Colin Firth and author JK Rowling.

They also share this honour with famous historic names like Florence Nightingale and Winston Churchill. Mr King said: “To have such an honour bestowed on us is very humbling.

“We feel privileged to be amongst such an incredible peer group and proud to be recognised for our services to UK business, and particularly to the security sector.”

Mr Evans added: “To be named amongst such a group of incredible members of society, from all walks of life, is an absolute honour.”
