CIMA’s regional director for Europe David Rowley said: “Employers must show they are reaching the highest standards of staff development to become a CIMA Training Quality Partner and the Yorkshire Building Society is certainly achieving that. CIMA is recognised around the world as the leading professional body for management accountants and for an organisation to have received our endorsement for its level of training says a lot about its values.”

Yorkshire Building Society’s head of finance Mark Elsworth said: “We’re delighted to have earned this accreditation from CIMA and it demonstrates our commitment to staff development.

“The training quality partner status shows we are constantly striving to remain at the top of our game in supporting the society’s aims as a strong and trustworthy mutual.

“We hope the CIMA accreditation will make us an even more attractive prospect as an employer, particularly with this year’s recruitment drive due to get underway soon.”
