AHF opens largest store in Yorkshire

FURNITURE retailer AHF has created jobs by opening a store in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

AHF, which is one of the largest independent furniture retailers in the UK, has had a concession in Beales department store in Keighley for 23 years. The new 13,000 sq ft store – the company’s first National Clearance Superstore – will open on Alston Retail Park on February 28.

The six staff employed in Beales will move to the new store and AHF is currently recruiting to fill two further positions.

Store manager Denise Oxley, said: “We have a long and well established relationship with (shoppers in) Keighley and were keen to develop our presence further. This is our first national clearance warehouse and our biggest store in Yorkshire to date.”

Established in 1979, AHF has 19 stores across the UK, including 10 branded stores and nine concessions.
