Appointments: Bank chooses client manager as its new associate director for development team

Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance has promoted Andrew Gaunt to associate director in its business development team in the North-East and Yorkshire. He joins from the lender’s large and major corporates team in the region, where he was a client manager for five years.

Law firm Addleshaw Goddard has promoted Paul Dight (government, energy and infrastructure), and Emma Williamson (contentious), to its legal director role in Leeds. The role was created in 2004 to offer a clear, alternative, career development path for senior fee earners.

Serena Brotherton has been appointed head of Langleys’ Equine Law Group. Ms Brotherton, who is also an amateur horseriding champion, was previously a solicitor in private law. She won the national lady amateur championship on the flat in 2005 & 2006, before reclaiming her title in 2009 & 2010.

The P&A Group of Companies has promoted Richard Pinder to manage its business rescue and turnaround department. He was previously group sales manager for P&A Receivables Services division. The firm has offices in Sheffield and Leeds.

Property agent Savills has expanded its national building & project consultancy team with the appointment of Stephen Throp.

Mr Throp, who joins the Leeds office as a director, has more than 21 years’ of experience in the industry having previously worked at the Commercial Estates Group and Sanderson Weatherall.

Estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley has promoted James Wattrus to manage its survey department following a restructure of the division which also sees chartered surveyor Peter Heaton return to work across the Harrogate and Nidd area.

Doncaster Rovers has appointed Lisa Meek as one of the club’s commercial executives.

Property developer Town Centre Securities, based in Leeds, has appointed Suzanne Gallagher as asset manager. She previously worked at Strutt and Parker.
