Appointments: Clugston builds its top team

Construction firm Clugston Group, based in Scunthorpe, has appointed Mark Hancock as non-executive director.

Mr Hancock, a founding director of property company Talisman Capital, is chairman of Rural Solutions Consulting, which advises businesses in the rural sector on diversification opportunities.

Law firm, Langleys, has appointed Sheelagh Coles as a solicitor to further strengthen its Children Law unit in York. She is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel and joins from Burn & Co in York.

Employment law expert Michael Ord has joined Watson Burton as partner. He was previously partner at Crutes, which has offices in Carlisle, Newcastle and Teesside.

The Leeds office of DLA Piper has added to its employment, pensions and benefits team with three new appointments.

Ginevra Gatrell has joined as an associate from Trowers & Hamlins, while employment solicitors Rachel Heron and Catherine Hickabottom have joined from Eversheds and Addleshaw Goddard respectively.

Project management and quantity surveying practice the Michael Eyres Partnership has appointed Mark Bickle to the position of partner following a reorganisation of the business.

Mr Bickle, a former associate, has been with the Bradford firm for 14 years and his new role will see him take overall responsibility for project management.

Shower tray manufacturer JT has appointed Caroline Schofieldas its Northern key accounts manager. She joins Leeds-based JT from Heritage Bathrooms.

Developer Litton Properties has appointed Mark Rothery as retail development director. Mr Rothery was a commercial partner in the Knight Frank Leeds office and will be responsible for retail, leisure and mixed use development. Litton is based in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

Marie Webster has joined LSH's Yorkshire property management team as facilities manager. She will be working from both the Leeds and Sheffield offices and previously worked at Ashtenne in Leeds.

Paul Shires has been appointed sales and marketing director of not-for-profit health insurance provider Westfield Health. He previously worked for healthcare company CIGNA and Barclays Bank.

The Sheffield greyhound track Owlerton has appointed Dave Perry to general manager following 16 years at the stadium.

Mr Perry, previously assistant general manager, will now assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of all eight departments within the stadium.

Debt purchasing firm Lowell Group has recruited two managers to its senior management team.

Phil Hickson, senior business development manager at GE Money, has been appointed sales manager. Robert Taylor, who joins the Leeds firm from Vodafone UK, is collections manager.

Santander Corporate Banking has appointed Craig Williams as relationship director in South Yorkshire.

He will be based at Santander's Corporate Business Centre in Sheffield.

Public relations and social media consultancy Wolfstar has appointed Michael Cooper as its new account director.

Mr Cooper joins Wolfstar from Amaze, a Manchester-based marketing and technology company. His role will include planning public relations social media campaigns and providing consultancy services to UK clients.
