Appointments: Dual role for new partner as firm promotes five to directorships

PricewaterhouseCoopers Yorkshire has made a raft of promotions after appointing Jonathan Boulton to partner and Adam Semple, Lesley Mitchell, Debra Halcrow, Luke Hanson and Sam Smith to director.

Mr Boulton will fulfil a dual role at PwC, leading the north's IT and project assurance team, which includes business system, information security, business continuity, project management and data specialists and the national Oracle assurance practice, which provides Oracle assurance, and advisory services to clients in the public and private sector.

Law firm Levi's continues to expand with the appointment of employment solicitor Victoria Moffatt.

She most recently worked at Doncaster-based Taylor Bracewell and specialises in commercial matters advising on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious issues as well as offering guidance on day-to-day HR inquiries.

IT systems provider Claritas Solutions has appointed Brian Murray as its new finance director.

Mr Murray has held a number of financial positions with leading national and international organisations, all based in the North. He will be based at the firm's headquarters, at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham, West Yorkshire,

Colliers International UK has made two new appointments within its retail development division and ratings department.

Richard Watson joins the retail development team as associate director, and Jonathan Horne is a graduate surveyor in the rating team. Both are based in Leeds.

Mr Watson has held senior positions at both Hill Woolhouse (now BNP Paribas Real Estate UK) and Savills dealing with retail agency, development and investment. Mr Horne has worked in the asset management department of Barnsley Council for the last nine months.

Four new members of staff have joined Business & Education South Yorkshire (b&e) to further enhance the organisation's services to businesses and schools across the region.

Pippa Proctor has joined the Rotherham-based organisations employability relationship manager. She previously worked in a similar role for a local charity.

Janice Richardson joins as project co-ordinator for the new b&e work-wise programme, which is aimed at encouraging and supporting young people to access job opportunities. She most recently worked for Barnsley Building Society as human resources manager.

Also new to the team are Robert Gamble and Kirsty Doran who take up roles as employment engagement officers for b&e's work experience team.

Both previously worked for training companies, assisting teenagers in accessing suitable NVQ courses or apprenticeships.

Digital agency Coolpink has made two new appointments within the Leeds-based business.

Andy Park is creative director and Guy Weston is director of strategy and planning. Promotion to the Coolpink operational board sees Mr Weston adopt a more strategic, new business related role, in addition to his original post of running the media and search team, while Mr Park takes responsibility for the combined developer and design teams.

The Keepmoat Stadium, in Doncaster, is celebrating the appointment of four new members of staff.

Paul Sheehan has joined the team as event sales co-ordinator and will be responsible for spreading the word about events and entertainment coming to the Keepmoat Stadium. He brings with him almost eight years of sales and marketing experience.

Andrew Metcalf has joined the Soccer Centre as a leisure assistant. He will maintain the eight all-weather football pitches as well as co-ordinating kids' clubs activities in the school holidays.

Also new to the team are Hayley Atkins and Emily Harvey who join as a ticket office assistant and receptionist on the stadium leisure desk respectively.
