Appointments: Modular buildings firm appoints general manager

Foremans Relocatable Building Systems, which supplies recycled and refurbished modular buildings, has appointed Steve Docking as general manager.

Mr Docking joins Foremans after nearly 20 years with the Portakabin businesses, which form part of the industrial division of the Shepherd Group.

In his new role, he will help drive the Foremans business in the South of England, which includes setting up a new operational base in Hemel Hempstead.

Foremans' headquarters is based at Brandesburton in East Yorkshire.

Law firm DWF has appointed Ty Jones as head of values and corporate responsibility.

Mr Jones has many years experience in delivering corporate responsibility programmes and joins DWF from Lloyds Banking Group where he was head of corporate responsibility within its wholesale division. He will be based across the firm's northern offices, including Leeds.

Law firm Lee and Priestley has appointed Barbara Millett as business development manager.

She has worked in marketing roles in a number of sectors including outsourced customer services, software and professional services.

She will focus on building on the firm's reputation and growing new business in its specialist areas, which include new media, technology, creative, leisure, entertainment and healthcare sectors.

Winston Solicitors has expanded its family department with the appointment of Joanna Wrigley to its family law department.

She joins the Leeds-based firm from Brearleys Solicitors, which has offices across West Yorkshire.

The Sheffield International Documentary Festival has announced the appointment of Campbell Glennie as the festival's marketing and business director.

Mr Glennie will be responsible for sponsorship, financial and marketing activities at a time when the festival ambitiously makes the move to June, resulting in two festivals in a space of a year: November 2010 and June 2011.

He was previously editorial consultant for the Global Anti-Counterfeiting Network.

Law firm Addleshaw Goddard has promoted nine associates to the role of managing associate (MA) in the firm's Leeds office.
