Appointments: New faces at real estate firm as college managers named

BRADFORD College has made three senior appointments to its management team.

Abigail Clay has been appointed to director of student services. She has been an independent consultant for 18 months and prior to that worked at Leeds City College. Jain Camfield moves to head of marketing and communication. She was previously at The UKRC as head of communications. Stephanie Tinsley joins as assistant principal for skills and development. She was formerly director of curriculum at Accrington and Rossendale College.

Elsewhere, the Leeds office of real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle has made two new staff appointments. Charlotte Stabb has joined as a surveying executive in the shopping centre management team. She joins from the Leeds office of CBRE. Tom Farley has joined the shopping centre marketing and commercialisation team as an account manager.

Meanwhile, Langleys’ insurance law division has appointed Shelley Dixon to the York office. She has worked for insurers and Lloyds syndicates dealing with their employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability and public liability work.

And, Yorkshire accountantancy firm Garbutt & Elliott has recruited a specialist tax consultant Rob Durrant-Walker. He joins from accountants UHY Calvert Smith in York.

Gordon Burniston has been appointed general manager of Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, near Wetherby, part of the Hand Picked Hotels collection. He started his hotel career at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, joiningthe Hand Picked Hotels’ team in 2009.
