Appointments: One Medicare welcomes new operations manager to group

Independent healthcare provider One Medicare, which runs a GP surgery in the Light in Leeds city centre, has appointed Joanne Ward as its new operations manager.

Ms Ward will have responsibility for both the Light surgery and the company’s second practice in the city, One Medicare at Hilton Road in Chapeltown. She comes to One Medicare after working across urgent care, primary care and the wider care community for many years.

Analox Sensor Technology has appointed Matthew Lambert as its new account manager. Mr Lambert has joined the Stokesley-based firm with responsibility for serving growing markets in the hospitality and industrial sectors. Mr Lambert previously worked for a recruitment firm and also worked in hospitality management in the Darlington area.

Gillie Graves has been appointed territory store manager at Dulux Decorator Centres, heading up four stores in Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley.

Having joined Dulux Decorator Centres in 1992, Ms Graves has worked her way through the ranks and will be using this experience to service, manage and develop the region’s customer base.

Marketing agency Manifest Communications has appointed Laura Coyne as a PR account executive in its northern office to support the agency’s focus on business growth.

She joins Huddersfield-based Manifest from Adessi PR with experience of working with national business-to-business clients as well as a range of clients in the Yorkshire area.

Skipton Financial Services (SFS) in York has appointed Stella Timmins as the branch’s new whole of market financial adviser, specialising in investments and inheritance tax planning.

Ms Timmins joins SFS with 21 years’ experience in financial services.

Public relations agency Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger has expanded its digital service with the appointment of search specialist Joseph Gourvenec and recruited Natalie Owens into the media relations team.

Yorkshire law firm Gordons has expanded its commercial litigation department with the appointment of solicitor Lucy Pollard.

Ms Pollard joins the Leeds-and-Bradford-based firm to specialise in residential and commercial property litigation after carrying out her training at Last Cawthra Feather in Leeds.
