Appointments: Specialists join law firm's team

Private client law firm Wrigleys has recruited two solicitors.

Richard Johnson, who has joined as a consultant, specialises in sectors such as common land law, moorland environmental issues and grouse moor transactions.

Also joining Wrigleys is Angus Hunter Smart from London firm Forsters. He will focus on succession planning and long-term asset protection for high net worth families, in particular those with landowning and agricultural connections.

Wrigleys has offices in Leeds and Sheffield.

Recycling firm LSS Waste Management has appointed Steve Tilson and Ian Grimes to the firm's management team.

Mr Tilson, formerly of Biffa, has been appointed general manager and Ian Grimes is operations manager for the firm's recycling facility on the Cross Green Industrial Park in Leeds.

Martin Brown has joined Whitakers Chocolates as national food service sales manager.

He joins the Skipton-based firm from AB World Foods (formerly G Costa & Co) which is part of the ABF group and includes brands such as Blue Dragon, Patak's, Tabasco and Maille.

The Yorkshire and North East Branch of the Association of Women in Property has appointed Vicki Ingleby as its new chairman.

Ms Ingleby, who is an associate director at planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates, is chairman for 2010/11.

The organisation was established in 1987 and aims to promote, encourage and support women working in the property and construction industry.

The Yorkshire and North East branch has over 100 members from all sectors of the industry including finance, planning, architecture and interior design.

Bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire has appointed Simon Tramalloni as its new assistant operations manager.

He will be based at the firm's Barnsley depot on Midland Street.

He joins from Stagecoach North West where held the position of acting assistant operations manager for Stagecoach Preston.

He will be responsible for assisting with the day to day operation ensuring delivery of service.

Mr Gunn spent nearly 30 years working for Kimberly-Clark before moving into consultancy.

firm's new head of construction.

He was previously a senior associate with Halliwells' construction team in Manchester for seven years.

Sign design and manufacturing firm Scriptus has appointed project support manager Gina Griskeviciute.

She has worked in graphic design in a number of design houses in Europe and has been employed within the UK sign industry for the last five years.

She will be based at the firm's office in Bradford.

Yorkshire Bank has appointed a new business partner at its Stockton-based Tees Valley Financial Solutions Centre.

David Allenson joins after 27 years with Barclays Bank delivering commercial and small business banking to enterprises in the North East.

He will continue a commercial and small business banking role with Yorkshire Bank where he will manage about 100 banking relationships.
