Appointments: Strategic Team Group expands with 35 new members of staff

Construction and property solutions firm Strategic Team Group has appointed 35 new members of staff.

The new recruits, who range from decorators to quantity surveyors, will work across its network of four regional offices and its head office in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

The firm has also promoted three members of staff to senior positions.

Framework manager and special constable for Humberside Police Force, Matt Clark, has been promoted to national maintenance manager.

Jason Green has been promoted from contracts manager to regional business manager for Yorkshire; while former contracts manager, Richard Marshall, has been appointed regional business manager for the north west.

Employment and Skills Group has appointed a new chief operating officer. Anthony Benton has joined the Sheffield-based team after previously working as chief operating officer for Tribal Education.

Law firm Schofield Sweeney has appointed Sarah Ruston as partner, working with the company, commercial and education charities teams developing innovative legal services for businesses.

She brings over 20 years’ experience from document managing company Squirrel. She will work across the firm’s Leeds and Bradford offices.

KPMG has made two partner promotions and five new directors across its core audit and tax practices in Leeds. John Pass and Lindsey Crossland are now an audit partner and director respectively.

Euan West has been promoted to markets partner, a position from which he will lead the firm’s relationship with some of the largest businesses in Yorkshire.

The office’s tax practice has made four director appointments: Chris Barnes in the private client division; Andrew Boyle and Dion Windelinckx in corporate tax; and Chris Knott in the research and development tax division.

Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has appointed a new design engineer to head up the company’s design team in Rotherham.

Dean Arey was previously senior product designer for a leading glass manufacturer.

The Insurance Partnership has appointed account executive Richard Twigger to its Hull team.

He previously headed up the Wilby & Co office in Hull and has also worked for Rixon Matthews & Appleyard and Kennett Insurance.
