Appointments: Two directors are promoted to partners by Leeds legal firm

Emma Roe, in the trade media technology and infrastructure team, and Rob Payne in banking litigation have each been promoted to partner.

Property consultant Drivers Jonas Deloitte has boosted its construction advisory team with the appointment of a new assistant director in its Leeds office. Neil Leetham joins from property services firm Savills, where he was head of the Leeds practice.

Commercial property agency Colliers International has appointed Peta Brydon as a senior surveyor within its retail agency team. She joins the Leeds team after three years at BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Property consultant Savills has appointed public sector specialist Simon Smales as a planning consultant. He joins the Leeds office from Nottingham City Council where he was interim director of city planning.

Chartered accountancy firm Thomas Coombs & Son has appointed a new senior manager. Daniel Sowden joins the Leeds office where he will play a key role in the continuing development and management of the firm.

Investment manager JM Finn & Co has appointed Lucy Clapham as an investment manager. Ms Clapham, who will be based at the firm’s office in Leeds, has spent the past 10 years with stockbroker Redmayne-Bentley.

Property consultancy Carter Jonas has promoted five members of its Yorkshire-based team. Edward Stoyle, head of the residential department at the York office, has been made a partner at the firm.

James England, head of the residential team at the Huddersfield office, has been promoted to senior associate, while Tom Whitehead, Mark Ludiman and Dan Taylor also become senior associates in the firm’s rural division.

Science Warehouse, an e-procurement provider, has bolstered its team with two new appointments and an internal promotion at its Leeds-based head office.

Liam Mitchell has joined the company as a junior test analyst, Jessica Rhodes has joined the team as a support analyst in the customer services team and James Hull, an existing team member has been promoted to development manager.

Law firm Eaton Smith Solicitors has added to its team with the appointment of Andrew Pedley as an associate in the commercial property team.

He joins the Huddersfield-based firm after he was previously based in Manchester.
