Ashworth Law looks to expand outside region

A YORKSHIRE law firm is looking to expand outside the region with the creation of new offices and jobs.

Ashworth Law, which employs 34 people, said it currently acts for more than 4,000 clients a month from its office in Harrogate, which it launched earlier this year.

But it now wants to expand its services further afield. The company, which was founded by Mathew Cobley and Adrian Holey, operates in two distinct areas.

Ashworth For You specialises in civil litigation, family law and personal injury, while Ashworth for Business is dedicated to debt management, debt collection, financial claims and corporate benefits.

Mr Cobley said: "Even though we are a young company, our clients range from private individuals to multi-national companies.

"We are currently acting for more than 4,000 clients a month."

The firm also represents clients who believe they may have been mis-sold financial policies.

Mr Cobley added: "To date, we have recovered in excess of 15m for clients pursuing mis-sold payment protection insurance and credit charges.

"To have come so far so quickly is a great testament to the work the team at Ashworth Law does.

"We are now looking at establishing offices outside the region which will help spread the Ashworth Law name to new clients, both corporate and private."
