Awards are open for business

The awards celebrate the world-class companies and individuals who are playing a vital role in delivering prosperity and growth to Yorkshire.

The Yorkshire Post is inviting entries from all companies with a great story to tell, so long as they are based in Yorkshire or have significant operations in the region.

Categories range from entrepreneurialism and exports to community involvement and outstanding employment practices.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony in Leeds in early November.

Past speakers include Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne.

DLA Piper, Goldman Sachs, PwC and Yorkshire Bank are the main sponsors.

The deadline for entries is July 2.
