The deadline has been extended until Friday September 4 in which to enter the Excellence in Business Awards for 2020, which will honour the dynamic leaders who are bringing jobs and investment to our region.

In a year that has presented every person in Yorkshire with significant challenges, we will also be looking for the firms which have weathered the storm the best, not just in terms of performance but also how they looked out for clients, customers and staff.

The deadline to enter the awards has been extended to Friday September 4 to ensure we gain a bumper crop of entries for these awards.

The awards will take place on Wednesday, November 4 and will this year be staged as a hybrid event encompassing both a physical and digitally streamed event.

A physical event will take place at the Emerald Stadium Headingley in Leeds with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Meanwhile the entire event will also be streamed online so that guests can find out who has won.

The awards will be presented by a top-class media personality and celebrate the best of Yorkshire commerce. Headline sponsorship this year comes from Addleshaw Goddard, Grant Thornton and Virgin Money.
