Barkston Group secures expansion funding

JOBS are expected to be created in Yorkshire after a plastic components firm secured a cash injection.

Leeds-based plastics specialist, Barkston Group, has gained a £1.3m invoice discounting facility through the invoice and asset based lender, ABN AMRO Commercial Finance.

The facility, which includes a £100,000 Enterprise Finance Guarantee loan, will enable the company to grow through a recruitment drive and by acquiring new machinery.

Barkston Group has been operating in Leeds since 1969.
