Barnsley cuts the cost of conference

The Thinking Digital Conference at the Sage, in Gateshead, which takes place from May 24-26, will feature experts across technology, digital media and innovation from the BBC, Microsoft and American IT giant Cisco.

The link-up means the Barnsley business community can benefit from the conference without travelling – and at a fraction of the cost. The main conference costs £299 upwards, but tickets for the Barnsley version at the Digital Media Centre (DMC), on County Way, will start at £20.

The Barnsley conference will also stream back parts of their event to Gateshead, thanks to a camera crew on site at the DMC.
